Welcome To Easy Web Pages 101

This site demonstrates how easy it is for teachers to create their own web pages using PBWiki.  Go to pbwiki.com and follow the directions on the right hand side of the screen.  PBWiki will send a confirmation e-mail with a link to click on that activates the site.  You choose a password, agree to terms of service, look at promotions for paid upgrades (not necessary in my opinion).  Tah-dah!  You have a web site.

Just a few hints

1. To change your page you have to log in.
2. To add content, Click on "Edit Page" and begin writing (You might want to erase the other stuff written there).  It works just like a word processor.
3. To insert a picture, from the "Edit Page" mode click on "Insert Image" and follow directions.
4. To change the title for your site (not the URL address), from the "Home" page click on "Settings".  Type in your new name.
5. To change the look, from the "Home" page click on "Settings", and then "Skins" (left hand side).  There are only 4 options, but its a free site.
